Terms of Service

Last updated: July 13, 2026

ClearlyDocs TX is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using this app does not create an attorney–client relationship. Documents and reviews are generated by AI from general Texas legal conventions and may contain errors. Always have a licensed Texas attorney review any document before you sign, send, or rely on it.

The service

ClearlyDocs TX uses AI to draft legal-style documents (leases, NDAs, demand letters) and to summarize and flag potential issues in documents you provide. Output is informational, generated automatically, and is not a substitute for professional legal counsel.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Account screen.

Subscriptions

ClearlyDocs TX Pro is billed through Stripe at $9.99/month or $59.99/year until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via "Manage subscription" in the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no further charges occur after that. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Free accounts have daily usage limits, and document review requires Pro. Prices and limits may change with notice.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to create unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing documents; to violate fair-housing or other laws; or to upload content you have no right to share. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of documents you upload and reasonable rights to the outputs generated for you. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and process your content to operate the service (see the Privacy Policy).

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
